Andy Pandy mini bunting

I found some super cute and colourful Andy Pandy books at our local op shop. They were the cute, small, square format – too tiny for our normal bunting, but I had to buy them anyway!

So we turned them into mini bunting – a free-form, smaller version of bunting. I think these would look super cute in a little boy's bedroom. A perfect birthday or new baby boy gift.

Hot air balloons are a design classic aren't they? Romantic. Adventurous. Timeless. Every one loves hot air balloons don't they?

When we lived in Melbourne and I drove into work each morning I'd smile when I saw the hot air balloons up over the city in the early morning light, taking some adventurous souls on a joyride over the rooftops.

Recently, we've managed to find several vintage papery hot air balloons - vintage stamps, a coloured book plate and my favourite, the cover of some sheet music. The stamps found their way onto cards, and some B/W balloon images soon became envelopes.

I wonder if we find any more balloons?
