Two down, two to go. Markets that is. And now just four more sleeps til Mathilda's Market this Sunday in Hawthorn.
It will be our first Mathilda's and we are very excited to be participating. As the focus is on unique, stylish & beautiful baby and kids products, Mathilda's is an opportunity for us to move into the kids market. The release of our Kids Range of screenprinted fabrics last year was like a toe dipped in the water, and this weekend we'll take our first baby steps.
We are focusing on products that feature our fabrics, so you'll find cushions in all manner of shapes and sizes and maybe even a mini quilt or two. The strong, graphic designs and bright colours of the fabrics should add a bit of colour to any kid's bedroom, playroom or rumpus room. I hope the mums and dads think so.
Last night was another of my sleepless nights, so I ironed, cut and sewed fabrics into cushions until my rotary cutter went blunt and my eyes struggled to stay open. Time for a cup of tea and off to bed!
When I wake up I'm going to try a spot of free form quilting. I think the fabrics will look fab in quilts. Don't you?
