thanks for the suggestions – knitting foreplay sounds interesting...and that's exactly what I feel like. Luckily its the weekend now and I can!

I am sure that it will return soon! I must admit I find it hard to knit sometimes - I usually find it comes back when I start a wild pattern that I have wanted to knit for ages i.e MochiMochi Land's log, or indeed her chicken...it always seems to do it for me.

knitting foreplay :) stroke the stash, play with colours, flip through patterns, sort needles by size, maybe do some gauge swatches, wind some skeins into balls. It'll come back.

I think it's the heat/time of year. There's so much going on that sitting down to knit or sew seems ludicrous! [Did I just say that!?]

This has happened to me on a number of occasions, and unfortunately you have to wait :( Not helpful I know! The only other thing that has worked for me, was making something that needed no thought, and this distracted me enough to grab my inspiration!
