what might have been...

We were supposed to be in Sydney this weekend, selling our wares at the Finders Keepers Market. It was SO THRILLING to be accepted, we were going to take our screenprinted fabrics, tweed bags and vintage prints.

However for personal reasons we had to pull out and our place has gone to some other retailer. I hope whoever they are they have a great market. And I hope all the other Melbourne-based designers and makers have a great market too. Its a huge investment of time, energy and money to do an interstate market.

While I am sad about not being in Sydney and FK, the old me would have killed herself to have gone no matter what, and the newer me realises that when one door closes another opens. 

So I'm waiting patiently for that door to open.

oh Martine - would have love love loved to have caught up with you in Sydney - what a gorgeous surprise that would have been for me. but good on you for keeping things in perspective and opting out when best to do so. i hope all is well and life treating you kindly. take care xo
